공사장은 단순한 미완의 공간이 아니다. 아직 완결되지 않았기에 모든 것이 가능해지는 그곳은 새로운 세계를 세우기 위한 터전이며, 무한한 잠재력을 품은 장소이기도 하다.

Beta space는 바로 그 가능성의 공간을 상징한다. 정식 버전을 앞둔 ‘Beta’ 단계처럼, Beta space는 수많은 실험과 실패가 허용되는 유연한 창작의 현장이다. 불확실성은 새로운 것을 시도할 동력이 되고, 모든 과정은 성장을 위한 데이터가 된다. 이곳에서 우리는 정해진 답을 찾기보다, 각자의 질문을 던지며 끊임없이 가능성을 탐구하고 확장해 나간다.

이번 제43회 서울과학기술대학교 시각디자인전공 졸업전시는 완성된 작품 너머의 과도기적 여정과 그에 담긴 의미에 주목하고자 한다. 흔들리고 변화하는 과정을 거쳐 우리는 성장하고, 또 다른 시작을 맞이할 것이다. 이 전시는 끝이 아닌 또 다른 공사의 시작을 알리는 신호탄이다.

이제 우리는 각자의 세계를 구축할 첫 삽을 들고, 그 출발선에 섰다.

A construction site is not merely an unfinished space. Its incompleteness makes it a ground where all possibilities unfold, a foundation for new worlds, and a place of infinite potential.

Beta Space stands for this idea. Like the ‘Beta’ stage before release, it is a site where trials and failures are allowed, where uncertainty fuels new attempts, and every process leads to growth. Here, we do not seek fixed answers but raise our own questions, exploring and expanding what may come.

The 43rd Graduation Exhibition of Visual Communication Design at Seoul National University of Science and Technology highlights this transitional journey—beyond finished works, toward the meaning within the process. Through change and uncertainty, we grow and prepare for new beginnings. This exhibition signals not an end, but another construction to come.

Now, with the first shovel in hand, we stand at the starting line, ready to shape worlds of our own.
